Tim Curry Joins cast of Dagon Troll World Chronicles as Necrofer the Demon!

When the studio contacted the legendary Mr. Tim Curry, it was the beginning of Covid 19, everything was closed or closing and fear was rampant. But magical things started happening and somehow it all fell into place. Tim was very brave when he came across town to Salami Studios Hollywood, a place he has recorded at before and felt at home at. We were so disappointed that we couldn’t meet with him but no one was allowed in the cubicle with him or to be around him, even his coach was outside. I worried that perhaps something would go wrong, because Covid 19 was everywhere and we didn’t want Tim to get sick. But he was fearless!

We were in touch with everyone all morning, talking back and forth about how it was going and what was happening!

A very exciting time for us as this was our first film and we wanted Tim to have a good experience and be comfortable and at the same time we wondered how everything would work out having to record at this stressful time. We never worried about Tim doing a good job, that was a given. Afterwards we got the master reel and were so delighted that Tim had done such a excellent job,, he was having a great time as well by the jokes, extra lines and conversation,, simply wonderful recording!

Looking back I know it took a lot for Tim to come out and do our recording but that’s what he did, he believed in the film, loved the character of Necrofer the Death Bringer, and was determined to do it well.

So the legend begins! The legend of Dagon Trollworld Chronicles, our dark dystopian, cult animated horror film, when we remember how it started I will always feel the magic all over again...
