About Over the Hills and Far Away...
Over the Hills and Far Away is a dark glittering jewel of a fantasy tale. Two young friends on a peculiar adventure discover the meaning of real friendship and the origins of pure evil. It is a dark, whimsical story about a little girl named Violet Bernadette Ipswitch and a fawn named Madeline who run away one starry night on a fantastic journey that changes their lives forever. It is a moving, charming, sometimes comedic tale of innocence lost and experience gained.
In the novel, the two friends learn about themselves and each other as they travel through a mystical world filled with many odd, alarming, and sometimes wonderful creatures. Among the characters they meet are a shape changing wizard, a two faced owl, and a dog that isn’t really a dog but instead is a guardian spirit called a Hogoshaw.
In this story, Violet and Madeline learn that there is true friendship and ancient evil in the world, and that it is never wise to judge a person (or creature) by their appearance alone. This magical story is being done as an audio drama by Scoffer Studios Productions starring the voice talents of Kirk Thatcher and Richard Ashton and many more, coming soon...

About Vivian:
Vivian Sellers is one of the founders of Scoffer Studios Productions, she brings her creative talents and marketing to everything she does at the studio. She took creative writing, fine arts and graphic design and layouts in college. She started out her career as a graphic designer in Orlando Florida, she has also illustrated one children’s book and worked as a fine arts teacher at an illustrious private art school in St. Louis Missouri. Now with the creation of Scoffer Studios, she has found an outlet for her massive energy and imagination. One of her original projects Dagon Troll World Chronicles was co-written and co-directed by Vivian Sellers and is set to be finished in 2021 and stars legendary actor Tim Curry. She is a woman who wears many caps, she also works as casting director as she has several UK and Hollywood contacts and friends in the movie industry. Miss Sellers was inspired to write “Over the Hills and Far Away” because she has always loved British children’s books and animated films such as “The Wind in the Willows” and “Alice in Wonderland” however all of her stories are darker, more mysterious, and possess a Tim Burtonesque flavor. She is proud to present her upcoming fantasy children’s novel “Over the Hills and Far Away.”.
